Hi, I’m Anu! Your partner in mental health care

Seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been trying to manage anxiety, depression, or mood symptoms on your own. My role is to create a steady, welcoming environment where you can share your story at your own pace—and where every part of your experience is met with respect, curiosity, and care.

My clinical focus is on psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I use evidence-based treatments while also paying attention to sleep, stress, lifestyle, culture, and personal values. Together, we’ll look at the whole picture to support your mental health in a sustainable way.

Holistic Mental Health, LLC was created to offer accessible, high-quality psychiatric care in Arizona and neighboring states via secure telehealth. Whether this is your first time seeking psychiatric support or you’re looking for a new provider, you are welcome here.

Philosophy of Care

Holistic, evidence-based, and grounded in respect

My approach to psychiatric care is both holistic and clinically rigorous. I value your lived experience as much as your lab results, and I believe effective care for anxiety, depression, and related conditions must consider your mind, body, relationships, and environment.

You are the expert on your life

I bring clinical expertise in psychiatric care; you bring deep knowledge of your history, values, and goals. Our work is collaborative, not one-sided. I take time to explain options, answer questions, and invite your input at every step.

Compassion without judgment

Many people carry shame or fear when they seek psychiatric services in Arizona and other states. I create a space where you can speak openly about panic, low mood, intrusive thoughts, or past experiences—without labels or blame.

Thoughtful use of medication

Medication can be an important tool for conditions like generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder, or bipolar spectrum disorders. I prescribe only when clinically appropriate, review potential benefits and risks, and check in regularly to ensure your plan continues to feel right for you.

What to Expect

A calm, structured process so you know what comes next

Many people considering psychiatric care for the first time feel nervous about the process. My goal is to make each step clear and predictable, so you can focus on sharing what matters most rather than worrying about what will happen during your appointment.

Step 1

Initial psychiatric evaluation

During your first visit (typically 60 minutes), we’ll review your current concerns, medical and mental health history, past treatments, medications, and goals for care. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable; we can take things step by step.

We will not rush your story. There is space for questions, clarification, and breaks if needed.

Step 2

Personalized treatment plan

After we’ve discussed your history and current symptoms, we’ll talk through a treatment plan together. This may include medication options, lab work if indicated, coordination with your therapist or primary care provider (with your consent), and supportive lifestyle recommendations.

You always have the right to ask questions or request adjustments to your plan.

Step 3

Ongoing medication management

Follow-up visits are typically 20–30 minutes and focus on how you’re feeling, any side effects, and what is or isn’t working in your daily life. We’ll adjust medications thoughtfully and at a pace that feels safe to you, with a focus on long-term stability, not quick fixes.

You’ll always know how to reach the office for non-urgent questions between visits.

Important: If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Holistic Mental Health, LLC does not provide emergency or crisis services.

Areas of Focus

Support for anxiety, depression, and related mental health concerns

As a psychiatric provider, I commonly work with individuals who are navigating intense stress, mood changes, and life transitions. We will always start with a careful assessment to understand what you’re experiencing before we talk about diagnoses or treatment options.

Common concerns I support

  • Generalized anxiety and chronic worry
  • Panic attacks and panic disorder
  • Social anxiety that impacts work or relationships
  • Major depressive disorder and persistent low mood
  • Mood changes related to life transitions or loss
  • Sleep changes and insomnia connected to mental health
  • Trauma-related symptoms (in coordination with therapy)
  • Co-occurring anxiety and depression
  • Concentration difficulties and overwhelm

Who I am the right fit for

I may be a good fit if you are:

  • Individual ages 13-65 seeking psychiatric care in Arizona, Washington, Montana, or Oklahoma

  • Open to discussing medication as one part of a broader treatment plan

  • Looking for a provider who is attentive, thorough, and collaborative

  • Already in therapy and wanting coordinated medication management, or planning to start therapy soon

If you are unsure whether your specific concern fits within my scope, you are welcome to reach out and ask. If I am not the best fit, I will do my best to provide an appropriate referral.
